DescriptionAs our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will assist in managing tenant and client ledgers, including posting charges, adjustments, recording deposits, processing security deposit refunds, and ensuring accuracy across our portfolio.
Essential Duties- Cash Application & Ledger Management: Prepare and process bank deposits for remote capture and post daily tenant / client payments, security deposits, and laundry/amenity revenue across multiple properties.
- Subsidy & HAP Reconciliation: Post and reconcile monthly Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) received from HUD or local Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) against property ledgers.
- Delinquency & Collections Tracking: Review aging accounts receivable / payable reports daily. Coordinate with on-site Property Managers and Accounts Payable to monitor past‑due tenant / client balances.
- Charge Posting & Discrepancy Resolution: Generate, verify, and process monthly charges. Research and resolve complex ledger discrepancies, unapplied cash balances, and payment returns with precision.
- Audit Preparation: Maintain meticulous digital AR records to ensure flawless tracking for annual HUD, REAC, and state housing finance agency audits.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $28.00 - $30.00 p/hour
