What You Will DoGuidehouse provides a range of advisory services and support to improve the processes and capabilities surrounding the development, defense, execution, reporting, and process analysis of activities required support the non-budgetary side of IC CFO. In this support, we provide guidance on financial management (FM) activities and systems in order to achieve, improve, and sustain appropriate accountability for all other IC priorities.
You will work with a team to support the development and implementation of strategies for improvement of systems and processes related to financial accounting and auditability for IC funds. This role will include substantive review and assessment over impacts to the IC for relevant audit and accounting guidance and regulatory updates, including but not limited to OMB A-136, Treasury TFM, and Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards.
You will also work with a team to perform analysis over IC AFRs to develop insights into progress and challenges for senior leadership. You will assist with evaluating, modifying, writing financial management white papers and policies.
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree
- ONE (1)+ years of financial management supporting Federal government (DOD or IC customers)
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting Degree
- CPA or other accounting certification
- Familiarity with federal audit and accounting standards (SFFAS, GAGAS, etc)
- Ability to review and understand technical accounting requirements and translate them to non-accounting stakeholders
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders from across the federal government to develop and document solutions for audit and accounting challenges
- Attention to detail, organization, proactiveness, and sense of urgency
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
