What You Will Do
Guidehouse provides a range of advisory services and support to improve the processes and capabilities surrounding the development, defense, execution, reporting, and process analysis of activities required to support the non‑budgetary side of IC CFO. In this role you will work with a team to support the development and implementation of strategies for improvement of systems and processes related to financial accounting and auditability for IC funds.
The work will include substantive review and assessment of impacts to the IC for relevant audit and accounting guidance and regulatory updates, including but not limited to OMB A-136, Treasury TFM, and Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards. You will also analyze IC AFRs to develop insights into progress and challenges for senior leadership, and assist with evaluating, modifying, and writing financial management white papers and policies.
You Will Need
- Active and maintained TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three (3) or more years of financial management supporting Federal government (DoD or IC customers)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA or other accounting certification
- Familiarity with federal audit and accounting standards (SFFAS, GAGAS, etc.)
- Ability to review and understand technical accounting requirements and translate them to non‑accounting stakeholders
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across the federal government to develop and document solutions for audit and accounting challenges
- Attention to detail, organization, proactiveness, and sense of urgency
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00 – $. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
