Audit Director – Commercial

Weaver is looking for an Audit Director – Commercial. The Audit Director will assume overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements, including multiple and complex audit engagements and other client assignments. This role is responsible for effectively managing engagement teams and client relationships to achieve the Firm’s quality, performance, and Operating Plan objectives, including client retention, engagement profitability, staff development and retention.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA with 10+ years of experience in public accounting
• In-depth understanding of accounting standards and knowledge of different accounting methods, including industry‑specific financial reporting frameworks
• Ability to execute primary engagement oversight responsibilities as determined by firm quality control standards
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Skilled in relationship management and practice development
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Broad experience with various industries and audit engagements

Compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $260,000, adjusted for experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
