AP Specialist – Hybrid in DC

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a strategic advisory firm that helps colleges, universities, nonprofits, and public-sector organizations plan and execute complex capital projects.
• Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an AP Specialist in their DC office!
• Pay: $28-30/hr, Mon-Fri, 8:30a – 5:30p.
• Metro Accessible – Farragut West
• Duration: contract-to-hire, depending on performance, fit, and needs of the business
• This position is for you if you like working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys autonomy, and wants to work hybrid (2 in, 3 out).

Overview of the AP Specialist role:

• Full-cycle AP –
  • 125 invoices per week, 20+ expenses per week
• Monitor the AP inbox
• Vendor management
• Ad hoc projects/reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the AP Specialist:

• 3-5 years of AP experience
• Workday experience is a plus
• Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
