We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Paralegal to join the Legal team of Cohn Reznick in our Bethesda
office.

Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Commutability to CR’s Parsippany office preferred.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Primary responsibilities include handling accounting firm compliance issues, such as firm licensing, compliance with state board reporting obligations, and management of state registrations for all corporate entities.
• Assist attorneys in litigation processes, including subpoena responses.
• Assist with review of NDAs, RFPs and marketing contracts.

YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
• 5-12 years of relevant paralegal experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services setting. Accounting firm experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech savvy with the ability to embrace necessary software applications.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Agiloft document management system a plus.
• Highly organized and self-motivated. Superior organizational skills with strong attention to details and deadlines. Ability to work closely and collaboratively with our business and Legal teams.

In Maryland, the salary range for a Paralegal is $80,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the Cohn Reznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, to name a few.
