Description
Full time position supports NIH OER leadership. Position is located on site at NIH with potential for hybrid work location opportunity based on needs and direction of the client. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing calendars and meetings; preparing meeting materials; taking and producing meeting minutes; escorting visitors; coordinating actions and activities with internal and external stakeholders; drafting correspondence and other miscellaneous documentation; supporting travel planning; coordinating and providing logistical support as needed; handling general administrative and mailing processes; attends meetings, briefings and other activities in support of organizational programs and takes notes on comments and commitments made and tracks action items;
performs other duties as assigned that support OERs mission and operational needs.
- Microsoft Office 365 programs
- High level of competence in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel
- Strong administrative administration skills with a focus on executive level requirements
- Proven technical proficiency, including data analysis
- Preparation of reports
- Very strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with a high degree of professional courtesy and discreteness
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly efficient and effective oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of NIH processes, procedures and organization structure
- 3 years of administrative a/o customer service experience
- Ideal candidate ideally has recent work experience within the NIH
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365
- Knowledge and understanding of special attributes needed to work at the executive level
- Social Media knowledge
- Adobe applications
