Description
Shadow Objects, LLC is currently seeking Business Financial Managers in support of NAVAIR at PATUXENT RIVER, MD.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Analyze, evaluate and synthesize program financial data using quantitative and qualitative techniques by interpreting program plans, budget proposals and program accomplishments.
- Perform Planning, Programming and Budget Execution (PPBE) and/or program budget and execution processes and functions.
- Lead, coordinate, interpret, organize, and execute Business Financial Management (BFM) processes.
- Forecast program funding activities with different sources and types of funding to identify, analyze, and evaluate funding problems and present alternative solutions.
- Tracks program/project status and schedules.
- Utilizes Navy ERP to perform financial execution functions.
- Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Uses intermediate and/or advanced features of Microsoft products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint;
A Mid‑level BFM within a labor category has 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree (or a qualifying substitution as identified in this section).
A Senior‑level BFM within a labor category has at least 10 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a MA/MS degree (or a qualifying substitution as identified in this section).
Education RequirementsBachelor’s Degree Preferred
SubstitutionSix (6) years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
