ISN Corp is actively recruiting Background Investigators to support an upcoming National Security Clearance Background Investigations Program. Investigators will conduct comprehensive federal background investigations in accordance with the federal agency and federal standards to support national security and public trust missions. This role will be for independent contractors.

• Conduct federal background investigations, including subject interviews and record reviews
• Perform interviews with references, employers, neighbors, and other sources
• Review and analyze records (criminal, employment, education, financial, and other public records)
• Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely written investigative reports
• Meet strict quality, timeliness, and compliance standards
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
• Use government-provided systems and adhere to investigative guidelines
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Work independently and manage multiple cases
• Proficiency with investigative reporting systems and Microsoft Office tools

• 3 years of general investigative experience (i.e. military, local, state or federal law enforcement or investigative functions) within the last 5 years and completion of “New Investigator” training and at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

OR

• 1 year of specialized Federal background investigative experience within the last five (5) years and at least a high school diploma or equivalent

OR

• Completion of “New Investigator” training and at least a bachelor’s degree

• Favorably adjudicated (T5 or HT level) background security clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship
