- Administer assigned contracts and complex agreements as part of the Contracts team
- Provide day-to-day contracts support to ensure timely submission of contract deliverables and reporting requirements
- Assess contractual and regulatory risks and provide risk mitigation recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Maintain working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements and government contracting regulatory changes
- Coordinate internal discussions to resolve contractual matters for assigned contracts
- Review and analyze complex contractual requirements and Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Prepare compliant proposals in coordination with functional points of contact
- Prepare and support negotiations of FAR-based proposals and change orders
- Serve as the primary focal point for day-to-day professional communications with the NASA Contracting Officer
- Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, templates, policies, procedures, and systems for contract management
- Translate evolving government contracting regulations into practical administrative guidance
- Support audits, internal reviews, customer inquiries, and process assessments
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in contract administration
- Advanced contract administration principles across the full contracting lifecycle
- Experience analyzing complex Government FAR Based Solicitations and preparing fully compliant proposal submittals
- Knowledge of regulatory, policy, and contractual frameworks applicable to federal contracting environments
- Experience with risk identification, quality assurance review methods, risk mitigation, and corrective action processes
- Ability to interpret complex contract language into actionable, timely professional quality guidance for stakeholders
- Professional quality written analysis, practical recommendations, and credible business judgment
- Advanced professional level verbal and written business communications
- 4 year degree in Business or Legal Studies required
- Graduate degree in Business or related area preferred
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the local market:
Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, or West Virginia
Demonstrates advanced contract administration expertise, including risk assessment, compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, and the ability to prepare and negotiate proposals. Strong communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement and contract management.
