Reports to:
Vice President of Project Management
Summary of Responsibilities:This position provides administrative and technical function on a construction project including scheduling, subcontract coordination, cost engineering, and general project administration
Minimum Qualifications:- Experience in multi-family, high rise residential, and hospitality construction is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of Texture, Blue Beam and Smartsheet
- Ability to comprehend blueprints
- High sense of urgency to work independently and meet critical deadlines
- Excellent communication skills – written, presentation, and interpersonal
- Possess a high degree of integrity and dedication to superior customer service
- Prepare change order and back-up documentation
- Creating and organizing project files
- Overseeing the administration of project closeout
- Performing quantity take-offs based on blueprints

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment

- Light to moderate lifting is required
- Ability to uphold the stress of traveling
- Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate

Work at the Miller & Long job sites, yard, and batch plants may be required which includes outdoor conditions, year-round, where noise, vibrations, and hazards commonly associated with this type of work exist.
PreferredEducation & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of construction management experience
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.
