The Assistant Construction Manager (Superintendent) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bethesda, MD. This position supports daily field operations, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to keep projects on schedule and aligned with plans and specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring site safety and cleanliness, tracking progress, assisting with quality control, and communicating updates to the superintendent, project manager, and stakeholders. The role also involves reviewing plans, helping manage materials and deliveries, documenting project activities, and addressing day-to-day issues that arise on the job site.
The Assistant Construction Superintendent contributes to maintaining a professional work environment and ensuring each home meets Sandy Spring Builders' standards for quality and client satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Site Management and Construction Safety.

- Relevant experience in residential construction or custom home building is beneficial.

- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills on active job sites.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
