Patient Services Representative

Location: Bethesda, MD | Onsite

Pay: $23-$26/hour

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Overview:

Patient Services Representative provides administrative and customer service support within a healthcare setting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to create a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff professionally
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Respond to caller inquiries and provide timely follow-up
  • Take meeting minutes and maintain documentation
  • Compose memos, correspondence, and reports
  • Create presentations and assist with administrative projects
  • Monitor invoices and expense reports
  • Perform internet research and data entry tasks
  • Maintain organized filing systems and assist with faxing/scanning
  • Support daily office operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Customer Service Expectations:

Exceptional customer service is critical to success in this role. Qualified candidates will demonstrate:

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Prior healthcare administrative, medical office, or healthcare customer service/call center experience required
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
