Monday 7:40 AM - 7:00 PM | Wednesday & Thursday 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM | Friday 7:40 AM - 2:00 PM
Are you a motivated and collaborative dental hygienist looking for a fast-paced, professional environment where you can grow and make an impact?
Fusion Dental - Bethesda is seeking a driven, friendly, and detail-oriented hygienist to join our energetic team full-time.
- Deliver exceptional preventive and therapeutic hygiene care to patients of all ages
- Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, scaling, and root planing as needed
- Educate patients on oral health, home care routines, and treatment recommendations
- Take digital x-rays and update patient records accurately
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide an outstanding patient experience
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene and office protocols
- Work efficiently to manage time and contribute to a smooth, productive day
- 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred, but open to new graduates with the right fit
- Active Maryland dental hygiene license
- Experience with Dentrix, Microsoft Word, and Excel is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and time management skills

Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Maryland and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are also welcome!
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
