SK+I is a nationally recognized, award-winning architecture firm located steps away from Bethesda Metro station in downtown Bethesda. Seeking a Project Architect
. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will work directly with Principals, Project Managers, and all levels of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years’ experience with a bachelor’s or Master of Architecture degree is required.
- Experience in multifamily residential projects is preferred.
- Strong organization, communication and management skills.
- Multi-tasking abilities in fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of building codes and zoning regulations.
- REVIT, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up, Rhino proficiency is required.
- Responsible for designing documentation for projects and production of contract documents to meet client expectations, in compliance with conceptual design.
- Perform project duties as assigned by Project Manager.
- Prepare coordinated design drawing set within project budget and schedule.
- Keep good record of design making principals/decisions of project history during early preliminary and schematic design phases.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing Project Plan (time design schedule, quality, team, cartography set) organization, staffing, and technical resource requirements.
- Keep staff architects and entire project team informed on an ongoing basis with the project information and changes/comments.
- Cooperate and coordinate with the project consultants to ensure smooth and seamless design process.
- Coordinate with governmental authorities to ensure that the project is following applicable codes and regulations.
- Utilize design and technical knowledge to promote high quality results on each project.
- Salary Range: $70,000 to 95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualification.
