Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our team at Building Kidz of Columbia! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

• Our proprietary PA curriculum fully integrates music, dance, and theater into our age appropriate development standards through classes and Broadway style productions.
• Learning Through Life Experiences
• Our proprietary LTLE curriculum complements dedicated and focused play areas to accelerate cognitive, emotional, and social development.

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones

• Must be 18 or older
• At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood program
• 45 hour Infant/Toddler certification required
• 90 hour certification (Growth and Development/Methods and Materials) Preferred
• Associates Degree preferred
• CDA preferred
• Willingness to complete First Aid & CPR training
• Willingness to complete additional pre-service trainings as needed
