Upper School Part-Time Math Teacher

Stone Ridge is seeking an Upper School Part-Time Math Teacher to begin in August 2026.

The Upper School Math Teacher is responsible for teaching mathematics in alignment with the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education.

• Teach Upper School Math classes ranging from Algebra I to Calculus.
• work closely with colleagues in the Math Department and throughout the Upper School.
• create and update plans for content, quality, and continuity of curriculum.
• actively collaborates with Learning Strategists, Educational Technologists, and the counseling staff to develop strategies to support all students.
• attend all faculty and employee meetings, participates in the Social Action Program, serves as a student Advisor, fulfills other faculty duties, and maintains good communication with families about student progress through regular progress reports and responses to parents’ inquiries.

• has experience in independent and/or Catholic schools.
• has taught high school mathematics and science and demonstrates knowledge of pedagogy and instruction as well as flexibility and strong organization skills.
• has familiarity with and/or experience teaching in the model of Understanding by Design.
