About The Role
Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team in Bethesda, MD. This role will help shape captivating visual experiences across multiple channels including web and digital display. As a member of our design team, you will be an integral part of our marketing communications efforts responsible for design solutions that resonate with our customers and drive engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse with an eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling. You will report to the Creative Manager, Web and Display.
- Think strategically to translate briefs into effective digital design solutions, balancing creativity, usability, performance, and customer needs in service of business goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross functional partners (marketing, digital merchandising, UX, operations) to align on best practices and incorporate feedback to ensure work flows smoothly from concept through execution.
- Contribute to the development of campaign creative concepts that drive cohesive storytelling and consistency across digital and print experiences.
- Drive brand consistency and a seamless customer experience across digital channels by implementing best practices, processes, and partnerships that improve efficiency and performance within assigned channels.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
- 1-4 years of Digital Design experience preferably in a marketing communications/in-house agency environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma, with the ability to translate concepts into polished, production ready digital assets.
- Strong knowledge of digital design best practices, including responsive web design, UX/UI principles, and designing for multiple breakpoints, devices, and platforms.
- Strong eye for typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and design principles that support clear storytelling and contribute to customer engagement and click‑through rates.
- A strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards, ADA‑compliant design, and inclusive design practices for web and display experiences.
- Power user of Mac-based OS.
- Experience developing animation is an added bonus.
- Retail experience and knowledge of the wine & spirits industry a plus.

Pay Range
$70,470 - $114,400 Annually
Compensation may vary based on location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Estimated salaries determined by third parties have not been validated by Total Wine & More.
