The organization collaborates closely with parents, students, teachers, and related professionals to provide individualized academic support.

The Academic Interventionist is a contract, in-person role in Washington, DC and Montgomery County. This role involves delivering individualized academic interventions, using data-informed strategies to support students in areas such as reading, writing, math, and executive functioning. The Academic Interventionist will regularly monitor student progress, adjust intervention plans, and document outcomes to ensure effective support. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with families and teachers and providing clear feedback on student performance.

• Classroom teaching experience and training in research based intervention programs.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with students, families, teachers, and other professionals, both verbally and in writing.
• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related discipline.
• Ability to collect and interpret student data, maintain accurate records, and use evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
