The salary range is $51,908-$110,424 per the Faculty CBA Salary Scale. Teachers will be compensated according to the highest category to which they are entitled in accordance with the degrees and certifications that they hold and the years of applicable experience provided. For example, a teacher with a Bachelor's degree and a teaching credential with 5 years of experience will have a base salary of $57,969.77 per year.

A teacher with a Master’s degree and teaching certification with 5 years of experience will have a base salary of $61,566.29 per year. A teacher with a PhD and 5 years of teaching experience will have a base salary of $65,461.50 per year. Benefits:

The Secondary School Teacher
- English Language & Literature is responsible for delivering high-quality English language and literature instruction to secondary students (Middle and High School). Reporting directly to the Secondary School Director, the English Teacher prepares students for academic rigor in English reading, writing, critical analysis, and oral expression within an international and bilingual environment. This position requires demonstrating the pedagogical competencies needed to ensure student mastery of English literary traditions, writing composition, and critical thinking, while supporting the core values, vision, and mission of Rochambeau.

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and the required examinations.
• Create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of all students.
• Prepare students for IBDP examinations, ensuring academic excellence.
• Develop, adapt, and select teaching materials and assessments to meet the diverse needs of students, including those learning English as a language of instruction.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed term reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum content and assessments across classes and programs.
• Integrate educational technologies and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
• Supervise students in various school settings and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
