Small Sat Program Manager:

Location:

Bethesda, Maryland Global broadband connectivity Using Global Satellites for users by delivering a combination of high capacity, security, resiliency and affordability with ultra-low latency and fiber-like speeds.

User Terminal Program Manager, responsible for working with outside technology vendors providing user terminal solutions. Our user terminals are being developed for a variety market segments.

This position requires a strong program management experience with proven experience in the development of satellite user terminal technologies and with the manufacturing, delivery and installation of satellite user terminal products, business development and sales.

• Planning and execution of multiple vendor programs by managing the scope: contract, work-breakdown-structure, executive reporting, requirements, and budget.
• Manage User programs including flat panel antennas.
• Work with the product, program, engineering and commercial teams.
• Work with engineering, legal and contracts with selected vendors.
• Vendor development:
  Prepare program inputs challenges and go forward plans.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in communication or satellite terminals.
• Previous Sat Com experience a Plus.
• Microsoft Project or similar (ie. Primavera Cloud, Primavera P6, or Jira).
• Knowledge of modem, RF, electronics and antenna technologies.
• Work with external vendors including outside design and manufacturing.
• PMP Certification is a plus

• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and/or provide technical assistance
• Manage suppliers/contractors during supplier facing activities.

• This position will be based out of Bethesda, Maryland.
• Full-time office or hybrid 60/40 office/remote, subject to work.
• Occasional travel, including international travel.

Base: $125K to 150K – Based on experience
