THE WORKLockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 3 Sr. Hardware Engineer with a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance to work from an OCONUS location. This is an early‑mid career role (level
3) where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. The Hardware Engineer, Sr. position supports the operations and maintenance of a large‑scale RF communication systems operating 24x7. Will be part of a multi‑contractor team of hardware and system engineers located at an OCONUS site. Position requires a 2‑year commitment on site beginning upon initial relocation, with possible travel to other CONUS locations required prior to that date.
Selectee will possibly perform pre‑deployment training and preparation at several Washington, DC area LM programs. Personnel selected for this position are required to work flexible schedules to provide on occasion after‑hour and on‑call support.
Primary responsibility will be to provide on‑hand technical expertise and direction of tasking to operations and maintenance support personnel across multiple large, integrated, complex hardware‑software communications systems in a real‑time environment and on a daily business.
Responsibilities include preventative and corrective maintenance support across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi‑tiered network. Daily activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Discrepancy report generation
- Work‑off and resolution
- O&M training/mentoring
- Trending
- Procedure development
- Data collection
- Fault isolation
- Performing real‑time manual actions to restore system capabilities
- Assist contractor and customer meetings by attending, participating, and/or leading
- Development of troubleshooting/recovery plans and execution of associated management and customer briefs
Participation in corrective maintenance will require removal/replace, repair, and testing failed hardware. Candidate will work closely with onsite hardware engineers to provide support for discrepancy work‑off, installation efforts, and special test configurations.

Basic Qualifications- Current TS/SCI Security Clearance and valid CI Polygraph
