Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong leadership potential for our Bethesda-based team. This individual will lead the design of complex electrical systems, manage cross-functional coordination, mentor junior staff, and serve as a client-facing representative for high-impact projects. The ideal candidate is technically strong, deeply familiar with NEC code and healthcare/lab project work, and either PE-licensed or on a clear path to licensure.
Responsibilities- Lead the design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, life safety, and specialty systems)
- Oversee design documentation and QA/QC efforts
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines and with clients
- Mentor and review the work of junior engineers
- Assist in client development and project pursuits
· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
· Minimum of 10 years experience; 12–15 preferred
· PE License in MD/DC/VA or a clear path to licensure
· Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office
· Strong knowledge of NEC and regional codes
· Experience with healthcare, lab, and institutional projects
· Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills
· LEED certification is a plus
