Integrated Program Solutions, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Project Manager I II located in Bethesda, MD. Selected candidate will possess strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale projects involving research, development, fabrication, analysis, and testing of structures or structural components in a government contracting environment.
- Supervise overall project and/or program execution, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, contract scope, and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, including short- and long-term execution strategies, technical schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and oversee engineering, design, fabrication, and test activities across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of program objectives.
- Manage research and development programs involving design, analysis, fabrication, and testing of engineering systems and structural components.
- Monitor program performance and identify risks, issues, and mitigation related to cost, schedule, and technical execution.
- Support communication of program status, performance metrics, and deliverables to internal leadership, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
- Support execution planning in accordance with Navy acquisition processes and program lifecycle requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering or R&D programs involving design, analysis, fabrication, and testing activities.
- Strong understanding of program execution principles, including cost, schedule, and technical baseline management.
- Ability to coordinate across engineering, production, and test organizations in a structured program environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced government contracting environment with competing priorities.
Experience:
- Familiarity with Navy acquisition processes and program lifecycle management (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university required.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing large projects involving research, development, and testing of structures or structural components.
- Demonstrated experience supervising project or program execution, including development of technical schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Experience coordinating engineering teams and multi-disciplined technical efforts in a structured program environment.
Due to the requirements of this contract, U.S. Citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required. Active Security Clearance is preferred.
