Position Overview
GEICO is searching for a highly motivated leader to join our Treasury team. The Treasury Director will oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, corporate banking, and short‑term investments, reporting to the Treasurer.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee all treasury activities including cash management, banking strategy, cash forecasting, short‑term investing, accounts payables, expense policy, internal controls, and broader corporate finance strategies.
- Manage banking relationships and drive banking strategy, pricing, and account structure.
- Partner with Controllers and Systems to ensure accurate, automated cash flow forecast and timely reporting and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with Treasury procedures, internal controls, SOX requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain treasury operational policies and control documents.
- Anticipate industry trends and position the treasury function for optimal execution.
- Collaborate with systems and technology teams to identify process improvements and implement new treasury management technologies.
- Support ad‑hoc projects as needed.
- Minimum 12‑15 years of experience in cash management, treasury operations, corporate finance or banking, including managing a team of 10+.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and systems skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of cash management principles, bank products, online banking tools and ACH processing.
- Experience handling complex banking and organizational structures and systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and treasury management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
