Position Summary

This is a coordination and administration role supporting PK Air Finance, Apollo’s aviation finance platform. Working closely with PK Air Finance’s origination, loan operations, legal, treasury, and accounting teams, the successful candidate will help keep loan activity, portfolio data, and stakeholders coordinated across internal teams, with a primary focus on the day to day utilization of the firm’s core systems Net Suite (ERP), Kyriba (treasury) and ACBS (loan servicing).

The role is well suited to someone earlier in their career who is organized, systems-oriented, and eager to learn, and offers the opportunity to build broad exposure across the portfolio. Credit underwriting experience is not required. The position requires professional judgment, discretion, and strong attention to detail, and the work is directly related to the management, running, and servicing of the company’s business and its general business operations.

Primary responsibilities include:

Coordination & Transaction Support

  • Serve as a central point of coordination across the origination, loan operations, legal, treasury, and accounting teams to keep loan activity moving smoothly.
  • Support the processing of new loans, amendments, prepayments, restructurings, and portfolio sales alongside the loan operations team.
  • Organize calls, information requests, and follow-ups to keep transactions and deadlines on track.
  • Use the firm’s core systems Net Suite (ERP), Kyriba (treasury) and ACBS (loan servicing) day to day to monitor and report on portfolio activity.
  • Track key portfolio events and calendar items, including repayments, maturities, amendments, covenant and reporting deadlines, and security filing renewals.
  • Prepare and maintain routine portfolio reporting and analyses for the team.
  • Monitor aircraft collateral, including deliveries, disposals, lease transitions and engine movements.

Stakeholder & Team Support

  • Respond to routine borrower and counter party requests, escalating more complex matters as needed.
  • Support the wider team on ad hoc portfolio, administrative, and reporting tasks.

This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work expected and the basic requirements therefor. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or requirements of the position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in portfolio administration, loan operations, financial operations, or a related analytical or audit role; strong candidates earlier in their career, including recent graduates with relevant internship experience, will also be considered.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with Net Suite, Kyriba, ACBS, or comparable ERP, treasury and loan servicing platforms a plus, including any involvement in a system implementation or transition.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in aviation finance, lending, or credit is a plus; no credit underwriting background is required.
  • A proactive, willing-to-learn mindset and a desire to grow into a broader portfolio role.
  • Specialty finance or broader financial services industry experience preferred.
