Our client, a fast-growing US-based renewable energy developer and independent power producer, is seeking an experienced Treasurer to lead treasury operations for its growing platform. This role oversees cash management, liquidity planning, debt administration, banking relationships, financial risk management, and treasury controls, while partnering closely with the CFO, FP&A, accounting, structured finance, asset management, legal, tax, and operations teams.
Key Priorities
- Cash forecasting,the primary focus of the role
- Parent company is increasing scrutiny on cash flow projections
- Needs to handle complex, multi-input forecasting out to 12 months
- SOX compliance treasury-specific, must be hands-on, not delegated experience
- Secondary/nice-to-have: debt compliance, fair value accounting, small derivatives/swaps exposure
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10–12 years total experience, with 3–5 years specifically in treasury
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus, not required
- Operational / private-sector background preferred
- Construction background is ideal
- Renewable energy experience is a plus, not required
