Determined individuals who have the drive to succeed can build a career designed to last. For 181+ years, New York Life has helped individuals, families, and businesses navigate life's financial goals and challenges through changing markets and generations. As a New York Life professional, you play a direct role in helping people plan and protect what matters, and develop strategies so that your clients can live through their goals.

You are building a financial practice with the backing, strength, and team of a Fortune 100 company. If you're looking for a career where your work has real impact-and your growth is in your hands- supported by a company with a long history and a strong future, let's start a conversation.

What Sets This Role Apart

Build a practice for yourself, NOT by yourself.

Control Your Career Path

After two years of training, our agents can become independent career agents and continue to grow their practices. There are opportunities to grow into leadership positions; the path is yours.

Training Support

Structured onboarding, licensing support, training and development with ongoing coaching, and opportunities to obtain professional credentials, with eligible agents the option to pursue approved credentials.

Resources Tools

Access to experienced professionals and institutional knowledge, proven best practices, along with sales, prospecting, and marketing tools to help you attract and retain clients through web, social, and email content.

Product Solutions

New York Life and its subsidiaries offer a broad range of solutions, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products such as mutual funds¹ through NYLIFE Securities LLC (member FINRA and SIPC), a Licensed Insurance Agency, allowing you to develop personalized strategies for clients to achieve and protect their financial goals.

Career Path Flexibility

As you grow, you can specialize with the assistance of our practice models in areas such as wealth management, estate planning, and business solutions—or pursue leadership opportunities. You may also choose to become a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies LLC, our registered investment advisor, and offer advisory services².

Compensation - Benefits

You have the power to determine your own income with our commission-based compensation³. Individual agent performance will determine your income. There are training subsidies available for qualified agents in your early stages. Benefits for eligible full-time agents include medical, dental, life, and long-term disability coverages, 401(k), and pension⁵
