POSITION DUTIES:
  • Responsible for the end-to-end administration, compliance, and lifecycle management of federal contracts and related agreements, serving as a critical control point between program operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership.
  • Manages the review, negotiation, execution, and modification of prime contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, CTAs, and teaming agreements across multiple contract types—including FFP, T&M, LH, and Cost-Plus—while ensuring strict adherence to FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and company policies.
  • Supports proposal development by reviewing Sections L and M, advising on contract risk, flow-down requirements, and compliance matrices, and coordinating representations and certifications.
  • Oversees contract interpretation, change management, and modification tracking; monitors deliverables, funding, period of performance, CLIN/SLIN structures, and option exercises; and serves as the primary interface for contractual communications with Government Contracting Officers and subcontractor counterparts.
  • Supports subcontract administration, including issuance of subcontracts, review of invoices and rate compliance, maintenance of small business and mandatory flow-downs, and resolution of contractual issues or disputes.
  • Maintaining contract files in accordance with audit and record-retention standards, supporting internal and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA), assisting with claims or REAs, and providing contractual guidance to program managers to minimize risk and ensure performance aligned with contract terms.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced federal contracting environment, while proactively identifying compliance risks and recommending mitigation strategies that protect the company’s legal, financial, and reputational interests.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5 to 10 years or more experience in US Government contracting in roles as a contracts administrator.
