Lead Health System Specialist; Physical Evaluation Board Liason Officer

About the Position:

Functional Lead overseeing a 26-member multidisciplinary team consisting of 8 Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officers (PEBLOs), 6 Contact Representatives, and 2 Administrative Assistants.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Specialized

Experience:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes planning work to be performed by staff; providing guidance or training to staff members; applying policies, regulations, and directives within a disability evaluation system; performing counseling, data collection, and medical coordination within a disability evaluation system; and utilizing a medical tracking database.

OR

Education:

Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.

Combination of

Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18.
