Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist. The role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile field during operations. Responsibilities include preparing supplies, instruments, and equipment related to surgical procedures, supporting the hospital’s quality improvement activities, and functioning as an integral member of the surgical team.

• High School Diploma/GED with completion of a Surgical Technician Program or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification required by state and/or the center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and surgical patient management
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions when needed
• Excellent teamwork and strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Min $46.00 to Max $55.57 per hour (wages based on qualifications and experience).
