Licensed Clinical Lead
Job Type: Full-Time, Salary
Pay: Starting at $70,000-$100,000
Setting: Center-based in Bethesda, MD

The Clinical Lead is the primary clinical owner of each assigned case and ensures that every element of the plan of care is designed, coordinated, and executed with clinical integrity. This role includes conducting assessments, building treatment plans, engaging with caregivers, and facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Clinical Lead is a critical connector between clinicians, DPPs, and families, and is responsible for maintaining fidelity to the Positive Development model through thoughtful case planning, care team communication, and outcome tracking.
Responsibilities:- Conduct initial parent meetings to gather family history, goals, and concerns
- Lead in-person clinical assessments and document developmental needs
- Develop and maintain treatment plans that align with PD’s model of care and family priorities
- Conduct regular family support sessions (virtually and in-person), providing coaching and education
- Coordinate care team communication and ensure all providers (OT, ST, MHC, DPP) are aligned and informed
- Monitor progress on goals and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed
- Submit documentation for initial and ongoing reauthorizations, including treatment plan updates and outcome data
- Formal clinical supervision
- Participate in internal case reviews and collaborate with Clinical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on quality and fidelity
- Identify clinical risks and elevate concerns as needed
- Serve as a resource to the Developmental Paraprofessional (DPP) Manager and support alignment between direct service and clinical goals
- May require home and community visits
- Master’s degree and clinical license required (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
- 3+ years of experience in developmental, behavioral, or autism services
- Demonstrated ability to lead clinical planning, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and support caregivers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to documentation quality and clinical compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and operational teams
- Reliable transportation is a must
