Data Analyst – JM – Senior
Position Summary Dark Star Intelligence seeks a highly qualified Data Analyst — JM — Senior to support high-level ODNI organizations in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain data management systems, integrate and analyze enterprise data, and create dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights across the organization.

• Work with teams of data and system engineers to design, develop, build, analyze, and evaluate data management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
• Use data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop data repositories.
• Integrate disparate raw data from across the federated enterprise using any supported variation of the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process
• Analyze enterprise level Services of Common Concern to determine gaps, opportunities, and trends to improve enterprise services
• Design, build and maintain data visualization dashboards, reports, and other products to suit client needs
• Provide data analytic support to design and execute surveys, data calls, and other data gathering processes across a federated network enterprise
• Ability to clearly communicate technical or analytic findings in a easily understood narrative via graphical, written, and verbal formats
• Use statistical methods, machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, and pattern recognition to identify insights and trends
• Design and build intuitive dashboards and visualizations to convey analytical outcomes

• Requires BA/BS and 7+ years of data analysis experience or no degree and 12+ years of data analysis experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
• Requires visualization and trend analysis experience.
• Requires the ability to elicit information from a broad user base and provide applicable analytic mythologies to provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency with multiple data analytic tools like Access, Excel, Python, R, SQL, VBA.
• Proficiency in visualizing and presenting data using platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
• Requires demonstrated ability with data analysis, data engineering, and data enrichment

• 5 years’ experience within the Intelligence Community
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience developing, deploying, and managing applications in a cloud environment.

$130,000 – $160,000 per year This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary. When extending an offer, Dark Star Intelligence considers various factors, including (but not limited to) the job’s responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data alignment, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), and other relevant laws.
