Glia Cell is seeking a Senior Cloud System Architect on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Annapolis Junction, Maryland

The salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 to $260,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across our projects. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection. • Experience with Terraform, AWS, Linux, and with the Serv Pro team
• Development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon Cloud Formation, Ops Works, Ansible, Chef, and Docker
• Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby
• Provide Tier I/II support. Follow established guidelines for delivery of cloud based resources
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of customer resources
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and utilizing cloud based compute resources
• Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams
• Maintain currency of relevant documents and update the Wiki and SharePoint knowledge bases
• Monitor and respond to chat rooms
• Should be able to develop with a Dev Ops approach for both Linux and Windows workloads using proven, cutting-edge cloud technologies including automation with Amazon Cloud Formation, Ops Works, Ansible, Chef, and Docker
