The Performance Consultant is a senior individual contributor and subject matter expert within Riverbed Professional Services, focused on delivering Aternity-based Digital Experience (DEX) solutions in SaaS environments. This role supports enterprise and US secured customers by leading complex DEX deployments, SaaS operations, and on‑prem to SaaS transitions. The consultant acts as a trusted technical and advisory partner, ensuring customers successfully adopt Aternity SaaS while maintaining performance visibility, security requirements, and operational continuity.
This is not a people‑management or practice‑lead role. The focus is on deep technical expertise, customer advisory, and successful outcomes across DEX and SaaS engagements.
- Act as a senior technical SME for Aternity Digital Experience solutions across SaaS and hybrid environments.
- Lead complex Aternity engagements including EUE deployments, advanced dashboards, alerting, and cross‑domain analysis.
- Design and validate enterprise‑scale Aternity architectures aligned to customer goals and operating models.
- Resolve high‑complexity issues requiring deep EUE platform, performance, and experience analytics expertise.
- Champion the business value of Riverbed solutions through visibility and business outcomes.
- Analyze customer IT organizations, requirements, and processes to drive adoption and utilization of Riverbed solutions and maximize ROI and business value.
- Deliver Aternity primarily in SaaS operating models, ensuring stability, scalability, and operational readiness.
- Guide customers on DEX operating models, SaaS best practices, and long‑term adoption strategies.
- Translate business and IT objectives into measurable experience and productivity outcomes.
- Own transition planning from a DEX and platform perspective, including architecture, sequencing, risks, and dependencies, and engage credibly with senior customer stakeholders.
- Lead or support on‑prem to SaaS transitions for Aternity customers, particularly in regulated or secured environments.
- Partner with security, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure transitions are completed smoothly and securely.
- Lead customer workshops covering DEX strategy, SaaS architecture, migration readiness, and success criteria.
- Based locally in the US, with active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or advanced technical advisory roles.
- Technical problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent speaking, business writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels up to senior management and C‑Suite, with technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Deep, hands‑on experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX), application experience, and observability.
- Experience delivering solutions in SaaS environments, including adoption and operationalization.
- Prior involvement in on‑prem to SaaS transitions or hybrid migrations.
