Overview

Information Technology (IT) subject matter expert (SME) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bethesda, MD. Synertex LLC is seeking a strategic, organized, and proactive IT SME and thought leader with expertise in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, and associated platforms and tools. As the IT SME, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and advise the Government Program Manager (PM) on technical questions and issues that may arise from the systems the PM oversees.

• Providing technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining, and visualizing software architecture to include data.
• Providing technical documentation to support the architecture of the portfolio of projects, including Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
• Serving as a technical liaison regarding system architecture that focuses on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security.
• Collaborating with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, assess applications, develop transition plans, and develop business cases in support of Cloud and other initiatives.
• Providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and providing implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that require extensive subject-matter expertise.
• Assisting the customer with technical oversight of the Service Provider(s) for the portfolio of projects.
• Providing technical leadership for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology.
• Interacting with the Government regarding systems engineering IT technical considerations and related issues or conflicts.

• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years or more of relevant experience;
  Master's degree with twelve (12) years or more experience;
  PhD or JD with nine (9) years or more experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud and Enterprise Architecture.
• Experience with IT governance.
• Broad experience and understanding to provide sound technical advice to the Government PM on a range of topics.
• Ability to call balls and strikes in meetings with other technical personnel for the customer.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
