LMX ERP Production Operations IT Team is transforming Lockheed Martin businesses using the latest SAP S/4

HANA ERP systems to drive a common set of streamlined processes and deliver results for our customers. Within this initiative we are hiring an experienced SAP Developer to support our scrum teams across Product Data Management Integration (PDMI), Transportation Management (TM), Logistics Execution (LE), Warehouse Management (WM), Inventory Management (IM), Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Global Trade Services (GTS), and more.

• Owning how data is sent and received.
• Supporting proof‑of‑concepts and ensuring code changes are feasible, sustainable, and minimize technical debt.
• Executing software development scoping and sizing activities for identified requirements.
• Reviewing functional and technical specifications for quality, programmability, and scalability.
• Working with middleware to design optimal system interfaces.
• Collaborating with other PTS IT developers on complex design decisions and technical obstacles.
• Collaborating with partner technology teams.
• Providing middleware and interface experience.
• Applying knowledge of Global Trade Compliance regulations.
• Using SAP HANA for optimized performance in GTS reporting and analytics.

You are a seasoned software developer with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of delivering high‑quality solutions. You have experience with ABAP, integrations between SAP GTS and other SAP or non‑SAP systems, GTS functional knowledge on Compliance Management and Customs Management, and a bonus in risk management. You understand how SAP GTS integrates with core ERP modules such as OTC, MM, eWM, and TM, and you design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient applications.

You are a collaborative problem‑solver who thrives in a team environment, mentors junior colleagues, and stays current with emerging technologies.

• Proven SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4
  
  HANA systems.
• Experience with large‑scale implementations.
• Experience with ABAP development.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead collaborative work.
• U.S. Citizenship is required (no dual citizenship).

• First‑hand experience with classic SAP tools/skills such as Restful ABAP (RAP), ABAP Development Tools (ADT), ALV, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI, BADI/enhancements, Workflow, LSMW/LTMC, CDS Views, AMDP, AIF, DRF.
• Exposure to SAP tools/skills such as Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, Java script, GIT, WebIDE/BAS, and other SAP technologies.
• Experience with integrations using SOAP via SOA Manager, OData, IDOCs, and proxies.
• Focused‑build experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) integration with core ERP modules such as OTC, TM, and eWM.
• Knowledge of Global Trade Compliance requirements and familiarity with BOPF enhancements and TM Process Controller strategies.

Full‑time remote telework from an off‑site location with periodic travel to Lockheed Martin office.

Schedule:

4‑day work week of 10‑hour shifts with three days off.

Salary range varies by location. In California, Massachusetts, and New York: $154,100 – $267,145. In other states: $134,000 – $236,325. Salary is a general guideline and reflects responsibilities, experience, education, and market factors.
