Position: Cyber Test Exploitation Senior, LM Red Team / Hybrid: FL, TX

Red Team Cyber Test Exploitation Professional

Lockheed Martin’s Red Team is looking for an experienced Cyber Test Exploitation professional to lead advanced exploitation and penetration-testing initiatives to protect cutting‑edge military technology.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct exploitation and penetration testing, research, and development across Lockheed Martin enterprises, products, programs, and technologies.
  • Identify potential exploitation or malicious attack vectors and implement mitigations to strengthen security posture.
  • Apply a broad range of standard and custom testing tactics, techniques, and procedures to uncover security weaknesses, assess attack surfaces, and recommend remediation.
  • Collaborate with senior technical partners on critical business and information‑security matters, delivering actionable results.
  • Coordinate penetration‑testing and red‑teaming activities across multiple organizations to support enterprise‑wide initiatives.
  • Influence security practices for Lockheed Martin environments, contracts, and business units.

Basic Qualifications
  • Hands‑on keyboard penetration testing experience, including web applications, injections, XSS, validation, session management, web services, hosting, web traffic analysis, etc.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Grep/Sed/Awk, and offensive cyber tools.
  • Strong networking knowledge (essentials, data flows, architecture, protocols, traffic, wireless).
  • Experience leveraging AI in offensive operations against traditional and AI systems, models, and guardrails.
  • Experience evaluating the security posture of AI‑enabled systems and producing threat‑model reports that include AI specific attack surfaces.
  • Experience building engineering LLM‑driven exploit generation pipelines and integrating them with existing red‑team frameworks.
  • Understanding of AI safety concepts such as guardrails, alignment, output filtering, and how they can be bypassed or reinforced in offensive scenarios.
  • US citizenship required with eligibility for Secret clearance or higher.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Desired Skills
  • Certifications:

    OSCP, OSCE, CEH, CEPT, GIAC (Web, Wireless, Forensics, Mobile, Exploit Researcher).
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of adversarial activities in cyberspace with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures, and ability to emulate these TTP to assess vulnerability and risk.
  • Thorough understanding of Active Directory and how to test against it or use it to your advantage.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat activity and an offensive hacker mindset.
  • Ability to lead others and deliver results in customer‑facing roles.
  • Effective documentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with part‑time telecommuting; proximity to a Lockheed Martin facility is preferred, though other major sites may be considered.
