Job Description
The Senior IAM Engineer will perform day-to-day integrations with the Ping Federate and Ping Access environments based on customer requirements in a timely manner and showcase working knowledge of Ping One SaaS services including DaVinci. The engineer interacts with customers on a regular basis to understand their use cases, guide them to align with IAM standards, and work with them to make appropriate changes in our Ping Federate and Ping Access environments.
Additional responsibilities include performing routine maintenance of Ping Federate and Ping Access products and upgrading or patching as operational needs require. The role requires experience in incident troubleshooting for application issues, product debugging, and L3 support as an SME, along with working knowledge of LDAP, directories such as Radiantlogic, Microsoft Active Directory, or any cloud directory. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience/certification.
- 7+ years of Information Technology experience with at least 5 years in an IAM function.
- Knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Microsoft operating systems.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
- 5‑8 years of Ping Federate and Ping Access experience, including installation/deployment and extensive application policy integrations.
- Current relevant information security certification (e.g., CISM, CISA, or CISSP).
- Deployment experience in AWS cloud and VM environments.
- Experience working in a globally distributed enterprise environment.
- Experience with monitoring use‑case implementation methodologies.
- 2‑3 years of directory (AD, VDS, etc.) integration experience.
- Familiarity with concepts such as multifactor authentication and deployment experience with any vendor product.
- Basic code development skills.
- Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects.
- Reviews completeness of requirements prior to client or internal solutioning.
- Participates with customers or internal teams in planning and coordinating implementation, reviewing quality control of system functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.
- Provides input to support change management efforts as they relate to support and training of new systems.
- Coordinates with appropriate IT and vendor relations teams.
- Provides consultation for routine system development.
- Provides early warning to leadership regarding degraded or missed service level issues or potential project delays.
