IT Project Manager, Cybersecurity, IT Consultant
Role Overview
The Program Manager serves as the primary operational leader for the Information Security Program Support Services (ISPSS) effort supporting the NIH Office of the Director, Office of Information Technology (OD OIT). This role drives execution across the technical and management approaches, reporting and governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and staffing in close coordination with NIH/OD OIT Federal leadership.

This role requires a strong background in IT/cybersecurity, experience managing programs or projects on federal contracts, and a senior security certification. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to hold teams accountable and manage subcontractor performance.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT/cybersecurity experience
- At least 5 years leading programs or projects on federal contracts of similar scope and complexity
- Demonstrated experience managing cybersecurity operations in FISMA / NIST 800-53 environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Plus a senior security certification: CISSP or CISM (or comparable)
Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000
