Senior ISSO Security Clearance

Overview

Jovian Concepts, LLC is seeking a Senior ISSO to join our team in the Annapolis Junction area.

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

• Enhance the system security posture by supporting the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance initiatives and enforcing security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Oversee security operations for information systems, managing daily security aspects, evaluating security solutions for classified processing, and conducting vulnerability and risk analysis/assessments for system authorization.
• Manage configuration and system integrity by administering configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware, ensuring compliance with security controls, and assessing the impact of system changes.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and System Security Plans lifecycle management activities to ensure compliance with system security requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in security policies and operations, support implementation and maintenance of security measures and countermeasures, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and strengthen the system security posture.
• Drive continuous improvement by assessing existing security processes, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing proactive solutions to enhance system resilience.

• A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as an ISSO supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Proficiency with customer security tools, corporate repositories, playbooks, and guidelines.
• Experience with Latte Art, Biscotti, and Xacata.
• Knowledge of applicable frameworks, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with the creation of System Security Plans (SSPs).
• Experience with STE/STN.
• Certifications and compliance with DoD 8570: IAM Level II or IAT Level III (e.g., CASP+, CISSP, or Associate).
