Position: System Administrator Level 3 with Security Clearance

Job Duties

  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Support day‑to‑day operation, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Support escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in‑depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers on escalated tickets.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system, hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable operating systems) and install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
  • Possess working knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware applications and software integration.
Required Skills
  • US Citizens only.
  • TS/SCI clearance and polygraph required.
  • Fifteen (15) years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required; up to five (5) years of additional SA experience may substitute.
  • Strong support of IT systems implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Management of IT infrastructure and related processes.
  • Experience supporting day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Experience supporting dispatch systems and hardware, and involvement in resolution.
  • Experience configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems, installing/loading OS software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity, configuring network components, and implementing OS enhancements.
  • Experience supporting installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches in support of enterprise systems.
Compensation Range

$95,023.30 - $ total compensation. Compensation ranges encompass a total compensation package and are a general guideline only, not guaranteed or implied. Determination of official compensation or salary depends on factors such as level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract‑specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.

Compensation includes other indirect financial components designed to support employees’ total well‑being: medical insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, maternity/paternity leave, 401(k) company match, training/education reimbursements and other work/life programs.
