About the Client
We are sourcing on behalf of a specialist organization based in UAE. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-resourced setting focused on delivering high-quality, mission-critical outcomes. The position includes a competitive, tax-free compensation package, comprehensive healthcare, and full relocation support where applicable.
Who We’re Looking ForWe need someone who can take full ownership of a defense-aligned security compliance program and keep it running day to day. The right person is comfortable working within defense industry regulation, has genuinely run structured programs before, and is naturally drawn to working across teams rather than staying in a lane. A degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or something comparable is expected, alongside at least 5 years managing security or compliance programs in a defense-related or similarly regulated setting.
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CAP, or PMP are a bonus, not a requirement.
- Keeps existing security compliance initiatives running smoothly and in step with defense-sector rules
- Builds out and refines the frameworks that keep the organization compliant over time
- Stays ahead of certification and accreditation deadlines so nothing slips
- Writes and updates the policies, procedures, and records that keep the compliance program defensible
- Keeps documentation organized enough that an audit doesn’t cause panic
- Partners with engineering, IT, operations, and other program staff so security stays built into how things get built and run
- Becomes the go-to person when others have questions about what’s required and why
- Spots security risks early and puts plans in place before they become real problems
- Supports incident response — investigations, write-ups, and the ongoing watch-list of issues that need eyes on them
This isn’t a back-office role. The person in this seat protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data across the organization, stays current on the shifting regulatory landscape, and helps build a culture where security is treated as everyone’s responsibility — not just one department’s problem.
