Shift Watch Officer/Systems Administrator
System Administrator / Watch Desk position that provides support for a dynamic operational environment while maintaining the capability to interact with multiple levels of the Agency's organization. The role supports current infrastructure by checking for system vulnerabilities and managing various data flow / watch desk projects. Responsibilities include providing request management support (account creation, removal, transfer, grouping, password management, storage allocation, locality, recovery, backup, and restoration), support for Windows operating systems, and detailed documentation.

- Provide request management support including account creation, removal, transfer, grouping, password management, storage allocation, locality, recovery, backup and restoration.
- Support Windows operating systems: install, load, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Produce detailed documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or five (5) additional years’ experience in a Systems Administrative or Watch Desk position.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Systems Administrator or Watch Desk Analyst.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems administration and industry best practices.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
- Past proven ability and willingness to work under the technical direction of senior staff.
- Experience performing under various levels of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience communicating and documenting technical issues, risks, and approaches to direct reports, peers, superiors, and clients.
- Experience providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Experience gathering requirements based on feedback and feature requests of users.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Previous Watch Desk Support experience.
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) certification.
- Ability to work shift: twelve-hour shifts up to four days a week, rotating between day and night shifts (four weeks day, four weeks night).
- Salary range $120,000 – $150,000, depending on education, certification and experience.
