Description:

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.

Position

Required Skills:

• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Cisco works, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, Fiber Channel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC).
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
• VMWare and Solaris containers.

Qualifications:

Three years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 5 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.

Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

Salary Range: $132k-$162k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
