Senior Product Manager – Metadata Intelligence

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for GEICO’s metadata platform and IntentIQ
• Define how employees discover, browse, filter, and understand trusted data assets
• Improve the Data Catalog experience and expand high-value data assets
• Define how metadata is captured, organized, improved, and used across GEICO
• Establish metadata standards and improve enterprise search using business language
• Own the business glossary experience and steward tools and workflows
• Drive metadata completeness, accountability, and quality across priority domains
• Define how business questions, trusted metrics, dashboard logic, and frequently used data assets become reusable context in IntentIQ
• Establish quality standards and review workflows for analytical knowledge
• Connect official business metric definitions to supporting reports, dashboards, and data assets
• Use IntentIQ insights to improve discovery, reduce duplicate analysis, and help employees find trusted answers faster
• Ensure IntentIQ provides Compass AI with reliable business context
• Set product vision, success measures, requirements, metrics, and acceptance criteria
• Lead IntentIQ from concept to production
• Partner with engineering, analytics, governance, AI/ML, product, data stewards, data owners, and business teams
• Conduct user research and steward engagement
• Track and communicate outcome-oriented metrics including catalog adoption, search success, metadata quality, steward engagement, IntentIQ usage, and trusted-asset reuse

• 7+ years of product management experience
• Demonstrated experience with metadata management, data catalogs, business glossaries, or enterprise search
• Track record of driving adoption with internal platform users
• Experience defining product requirements for AI/ML-enabled capabilities such as metadata enrichment and semantic search
• Ability to lead product execution across multiple engineering teams or organizational boundaries through influence, clear prioritization, and stakeholder alignment
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple business domains with competing priorities
• Evidence of consistent user research and stakeholder engagement
• Comfort with data governance concepts: certification, ownership, stewardship, domain boundaries, sensitivity
• Experience with SQL query analysis, BI metadata, or usage analytics products
• Experience with Data Hub or comparable open-source / enterprise catalog platforms
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
• Background with usage-intelligence or query-log products: SQL-to-natural-language, analytical pattern reuse, knowledge inventory
• Knowledge of Power BI metadata (DAX, M) or semantic layer / metric registry products
