DescriptionOur customer is seeking someone who has installation, maintenance, and support of systems, including but not limited to servers, virtualization, and storage. This person will have passion and talent for solving complex problems of scalability and availability in distributed systems. In this role, this person will be responsible for administering, maintaining, troubleshooting and configuring solutions and diagnosing and proactively addressing challenges.
Additionally, this person will be part of a team that monitors and maintains system availability. This position performs professional engineering and scientific work involving the design, construction, and operation of computer systems, including hardware and software and their integration. You will work with the company's corporate IT Operations team to provide assistance and guidance for administrative efforts and serve as tier 3 technical support.

AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Experience authoring technical documentation and articulating technical information to customers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Windows Server experience including managing server roles and features.
- Systems engineering techniques to include requirements analysis and design methodologies.
- VMware vSphere Administration experience.
- Storage administration experience and knowledge of storage protocols.
- Strong debugging and systems analysis skills to be able to identify and quickly resolve/mitigate issues.
- Leadership skills to coordinate projects across multiple teams and drive them to a successful conclusion.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nottingham, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
