. The firm delivers expert commercial insurance, risk management, employee benefits, and benefit administration across the U.S. and international markets.

• Lead the tactical and operational design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of client benefit plans.
• Manage a book of business generating at least $1M in revenue.
• Conduct policy activity and stewardship across the assigned book.
• Analyze and report on claims data, spotting trends and comparing client data to industry benchmarks.
• Ensure client compliance with ACA, FMLA, COBRA, ERISA, and other applicable laws.
• Provide training and mentorship to the Client Executive Team.
• Maintain accurate and timely client interactions and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for additional lines of insurance and recommend changes at renewal.
• Adapt to changing priorities and continually improve processes.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

• State insurance license(s) as required by the State Department of Insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), SPHR, or PHR (preferred).
• Minimum seven (7) years of insurance/benefits experience, including leading a client management team.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Collaboration and adherence to ethical standards.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to learn firm and insurance company software systems.

• Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Publisher.

• Fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Some travel required.
• Hybrid position in Leesburg, VA or Bethesda, MD.

Starting salary $135,000+ and negotiable rid work arrangement available.
