Job Overview

Immediate Building Service Worker Shift I, 4 hrs/12 mos, Ashburton Elementary School, part‑time evening. MIT hours $20.00-$24.84.

• Perform building cleaning, facilities, and grounds maintenance in schools.
• Use cleaning tools and chemicals and operate custodial and grounds care equipment.
• Monitors building spaces and grounds to ensure a safe environment.
• Respond to emergency situations and report to buildings during inclement weather.
• Perform manual labor including moving furniture, lifting up to 50 lbs., and heavy work.
• Work required overtime or night work as necessary.

• Completion of the ninth grade required.
• High School or GED diploma preferred.
• Experience in general building and grounds cleaning.
• Basic knowledge of emergency facility response procedures.
• Ability to learn and follow instructions, communicate with customers.
• Ability to use cleaning supplies and equipment safely.
• Must possess a current working telephone number.
