Position SummaryThe Corporate Executive Protection (EP) Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution oversight of executive protection operations supporting senior leadership and enterprise-level activities.
This role serves as the central point of continuity for the Executive Protection program, ensuring protective operations align with corporate culture, governance standards, and business objectives. The EP Manager operates within a collaborative corporate environment and must balance operational effectiveness with executive expectations, organizational diplomacy, and clear executive communication.
Unlike traditional law enforcement or military-centric protection roles, this position requires a professional who excels in corporate engagement, stakeholder management, and enterprise coordination while maintaining strong operational competence.
Key Responsibilities Executive Protection Program Management- Serve as the primary continuity lead for the enterprise Executive Protection program.
- Oversee planning and coordination of protective operations for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) activities.
- Ensure operational readiness while aligning with corporate culture and expectations.
- Maintain situational awareness and executive confidence by keeping leadership informed of program status and risk posture.
- Develop operational plans and protection frameworks, including:
- Operational Orders
- Event and meeting protection strategies
- Coordinate staffing and deployment through Regional Security Management and partner teams.
- Collaborate with Intelligence/Threat Management and SOC functions to support risk mitigation.
- Arrange and oversee protective coverage resources as required.
Approximately 30% of weekly duties involve direct or active protection operations

- Brief the Vice President, Head of Security, prior to each operation or executive travel activity.
- Provide concise, decision-ready communication designed to reduce unnecessary escalation or operational noise.
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Travel, Fleet, Safety, and corporate stakeholders.
- Navigate organizational dynamics and executive expectations with professionalism and discretion.
- Support executive travel programs in coordination with internal corporate travel teams.
- Travel approximately 25% annually
, typically 3–5 days per trip. - Ensure advance planning, coordination, and post-operation continuity.
- Draft and maintain corporate governance updates related to executive protection.
- Develop and revise:
- Meeting and event protection SOPs
- Program standards and operational procedures
- Maintain licensing compliance to provide armed protective services when required in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
- Strong operational planning capability and protective services knowledge.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suited for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within corporate structures and organizational politics.
- Experience coordinating multi-departmental security or operational initiatives.
- Ability to maintain flexibility in schedule and operational tempo.
- Corporate executive protection leadership experience.
- Background integrating protection operations with intelligence or SOC functions.
- Experience drafting corporate security policies or governance documentation.
- Professional security certifications or relevant industry training.
- Experience supporting senior executives in large enterprise organizations.
- Flexible, operationally-driven schedule, averaging 40–50 hours per week.
- Operational tempo may vary based on executive travel and corporate events.
- Hybrid planning and operational role combining office coordination and field oversight.
